Thomas Trier

THOMAS TRIER

PRINCIPAL

Thomas Trier has in recent years been keenly engaged as both a theatre director and a scriptwriter. To his credit he has written and instructed more than 20 theatre plays.

Lately Trier’s play “Krag” – a play about the late Prime Minister Jens Otto Krag – has been performed with great success all over Denmark. When it was played in Aalborg, it was rewarded 5 stars by Nordjyske, besides a brilliant review. This popular play has also been performed in Folketeatret in Copenhagen and Musikhuset in Aarhus.

Besides his many interests, Thomas Trier has worked as a university professor, a folk high school teacher and as chairman of the board of Kulturklubben.

Thomas is very competitive. So he is always up for a push-up contest, a game of foosball or a bet. And then he drives a veteran car – and is proud of it!
