Movies

In elective movies we watch a good movie that can provide inspiration to watch movies in a new way. Students and the teacher can together agree on what would be interesting to watch during the elective period, just as long as the film is representative of different aspects that can be discussed in the forum, for example:

• film genre

• essential issues

• ideologies and attitudes

• to expand horizons and learn to see as long as the film in a new way

• soundtrack

• methods and film technical angles

Each class will begin with either the teacher or a student (voluntary) with a short introduction about the film and what might be worth noticing as we watch it.

After watching the film we will evaluate and discuss the film in detail.

Kung Fu Hustle

• chinese adventure

• anime

• kung fu styles

• similarities and differences to other martial arts films of all time

Tron

• definition and historical overview of the science fiction genre

• specific relationships with other science fiction films, such as the Matrix trilogy and Blade Runner

The discussions will take place in Danish.
