Scholarship (CIRIUS)

You have the possibility to obtain a CIRIUS scholarship if you are a citizen of the new EU-member states (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania. Slovakia and Slovenia)

In our school, the CIRIUS scholarship covers all expenses for your education, board and lodging. You only have to pay the admission fee of DKK 1,990 and the study trip of DKK 3,800 (prices autumn 2011 – equivalent to approx. EUR 775). The admission fee will be used for materials during your course and tickets for shows/concerts during the study trip to Berlin. No extra costs will be added to your stay.

Students with CIRIUS scholarship are not permitted to leave for holidays during their stay. We have decided that students with CIRIUS scholarships are to spend all weeks of the semester at our school. The simple reason is that our school only receives the funds for the weeks you are present at our school. And further the scholarship is actually only covering half of the normal study fee, thus we are depending on obtaining funds from CIRIUS for all weeks, and we only receive funds for the actual weeks you are at our school.

Remember to bring some pocket money to purchase washing / dryer card and for personal items (ear plugs, drum sticks, guitar strings, burnable CD’s/DVD’s etc.)

The application deadline for CIRIUS scholarship is the 1st of June (for the autumn 2011 course) and 1st of December (for the spring 2012 course). However, remember to apply in due time (minimum one month before the deadline) as the paper work must be in order and received by the CIRIUS foundation on the date of the deadline.

Of course in case of family emergencies, we do disregard this rule, but you have to inform the school’s principal as soon as you know that you may have to leave the school for a shorter period to attend to possible family emergencies.

We will fill out all the documents for obtaining scholarship for you. You only have to fill in a questionnaire at the end of your stay at our school. Everything else is taken care of by us.
