Soomi Lunau (audio & webmaster)

Musician, live and studio audio engineer. Educated at Neverland Recording Studios and technical assistant for Dave Hyatt at Lundgaard Studios. Soomi teaches audio engineering and is a certified Pro Tools T3 instructor.

“My mentor and teacher, Dave Hyatt once told me, that to be a good audio engineer, you have to be a studio recording engineer and live sound engineer. Two very different worlds and both extremely exciting and challenging.”

I like designing stage layouts and technical riders in Omnigraffle and Google Sketchup. I am big fan of Neumann microphones and have good contacts with the headquarter Georg Neumann GmbH in Berlin which we often visit.

I am born and raised in Pakistan and if you need to try a hot thai chilly or two, I always have some in my pocket! In the spring of 2003 I enrolled into the music line and in 2005, I started the audio engineering line which is now well established and recognized by the Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.”
